Meet Bentley...

Bentley is the marvelous creature who leapt into our lives about six months ago. Miss Darlene (who is the fabulous lady who runs the show in the front office of my school) got an email from Miss Kelli (who is the fabulous lady who runs the show in the guidance office at the high school) that a campus advisor needed to "unadopt" a beautiful black puppy. I was so excited that I called Stephen and told him that I "might" go see about a puppy after school. Well, I came home with that puppy. We fell in love with him. Stephen was surprised to say the least, but he has come to be Bentley's favorite so he can't complain. It took us over a week, but we decided on the name. We've come to realize that the black lab puppy I brought home is actually a black "labradane" as in half lab, half great dane. He's huge but pretty stinkin' adorable! He completes our happy little family...thus far!

Finally...

Okay, I set this blog up months ago so I thought I would actually post something. I decided to start this as a way to "scrapbook" without having to worry about all of the silly little stickers and page decorations. If I had the ability to make decisions, I would love to have all of the random items I have in about twelve different containers labeled "scrapbook stuff" in a beautiful book that I would cherish forever. However, I have come to accept that it may never happen for me. I figured I might actually upload pictures and write a paragraph once a month or so. My friend Jennifer and her husband, Chris, are quite the "bloggers". She has family up north who love to read their blog and see fun pics. They inspired me to try this. I am going to attempt it. I realize that this page will be much more interesting to people once we have kids, but you can suck it up until then! Bentley will do. Enjoy!!

Quick synopsis of our life together so far...
Stephen falls head over heels for Samantha during the summer of 2000...Samantha goes to Rollins, Stephen goes to UNF and travels to see Samantha every single weekend for the next four years...yadda, yadda, yadda...Stephen and Samantha get engaged in November 2005...buy a house in August...get married on the thirtieth of September...Stephen and Samantha are blissfully wed until Bentley arrives...life gets a little crazy, but we like it that way...to be continued...much more to come...
